Dustin Salomon is a leading new voice in the firearms and tactical training industry. His focus is on how people learn and he has dedicated his life to challenging the status quo and fixing what he calls the "two fundamental failures" of training.

Dustin is a certified law enforcement firearms instructor, former naval officer and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, where he was a four year member of the Navy Combat Pistol Team. He developed the security and weapons training programs at two military commands and has conducted 20 overseas deployments.

In 2016 Dustin published the industry acclaimed book Building Shooters. In 2017 he founded Building Shooters Technology LLC, a small business that applies neuroscience and psychology research to design cutting-edge tactical training systems.

Since 2018 he has delivered keynote speeches on firearms training at the FBI Firearms Instructor Conference and FBI National Academy as well as the Georgia Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor Conference.
